Senior Backend Developer

Mobileye is looking for a Software Engineer to join a team that is building a state-of-the-art Data Platform.

The autonomous vehicle project generates huge amount of data, and our challenge is to make it accessible and usable across the entire organization, including DL/ML developers, validation teams, product managers, analysts and others.

We are using cutting-edge tech stack to solve problems, which includes multiple databases, big data frameworks, data streaming technologies, AWS infrastructure, and more.

What will your job look like:

• Participate in the development of a large-scale system from its inception
• Take part in the design & development of a cloud-based, multi-service big data platform
• Evaluate potential technologies and take part in decision-making.
• Work side-by-side with your peers to overcome complex challenges.
• Continuously improve and learn new technological skills.
  
  

• BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Experience in developing backend services and shipping large-scale application with a user-empathetic mindset
• Experience with databases (relational and schema-less) and efficient data modeling
• Experience with containerized services
• Strong skills in Python, Django, FastAPI - big advantage
• Experience with AWS (ECS, EMR, Athena, S3, SQS) - advantage
• Working with Spark, Presto, Drill, and ETL flows - advantage
• Working with Kafka or similar streaming/messaging platforms - advantage
