DevOps Engineer

Scope of work:

· Implementing DevOps methodologies at an organizational level, enabling change ownership via strong communication, automated frameworks and platform engineering techniques

· Being an integral member of an agile team of DevOps engineers, owners of production stability for a multitude of complex systems and a wide and varied tech stack

· Deploying and maintaining new and existing critical cloud-native architecture and ensuring the highest possible security posture in an efficient and cost effective way.

· Working closely with R&D teams and supporting all stakeholders to enable low friction adoption of high quality automation frameworks

· Researching and managing integrations of new technologies and related knowledge sharing

· Implementing comprehensive monitoring solutions to proactively find and mitigate issues.

· Driving the cultural change needed to help us all be better today than we were yesterday

Requirements: (all are MUST)

· 3 - 8 years experience as DevOps Engineer/Platform Engineer/SRE/Developer

· A minimum of 3 years running production level cloud-native workloads (AWS, Azure or GCP)

· Experience in Windows administration and ecosystem.

· Experiencing automating AWS EC2 VM-based infrastructure

· Proven Object-Oriented/Functional development capabilities: PowerShell/Python/Ruby

· Experience with IaaC tools (e.g. Terraform/Helm)

· Application lifecycle management and CI/CD methodologies

· Monitoring Systems (Grafana, New Relic, DataDog)

· Strong understanding of security and preemptive preventative techniques.

· English- High proficiency

· Strong communication skills both within a team and when cooperating with other teams

· Ability to self-learn/discover both existing unknown processes and new technologies, while also able to utilize the strength of the team

· A strong sense of ownership over your responsibilities with a can-do attitude.

· Strong ability to detect, research and troubleshoot problems on potentially unknown platforms and operating systems.

Skills that are a great bonus

· Experience with .Net (Standard and Core) pipelines

· Experience with Microservices architecture & container orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)

· Experience with Configuration Management tools (e.g. Octopus, Chef, Ansible or Puppet)

· Wide experience in AWS Cloud Technologies and Services
