Senior C++/Linux Developer

We're seeking a Senior C++/Linux Developer to design and develop applications, and collaborate with the team working on various infrastructure layers. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and high product quality is essential.

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming
• Proficient in C++ and Linux, with a solid understanding of their ecosystems – a must!
• Knowledge of Python is a plus
• Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns
• Experience in writing reusable C++ libraries
• Knowledge of FUSE, OpenSSL, Linux kernel, and embedded programming is advantageous
• Experience with both standalone and embedded open-source relational databases
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications
• Experience with implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Git
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows
• Team player with a self-learning attitude and excellent communication skills
• Experience in a storage or networking company is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, security, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Analyze and navigate legacy code effectively
