Diagnostic Manager

Introduction to Role:

We are seeking a Diagnostic Manager who will be responsible for creating the strategy providing diagnostic and scientific support for biomarker testing associated with AstraZeneca’s marketed products. This role is pivotal in connecting a variety of stakeholders such as pathologists, molecular biologists, lab technicians, geneticists, genetic counsellors and oncologists.

Accountabilities:

As a Diagnostic Manager, you will support the testing referrals axis between the referring physician and related persona in the sick-funds/ minister of health representatives. You will work closely with marketing, sales, medical and market access functions to define the best pre-launch, launch and post launch strategies. This includes executing tactical plans with an understanding of clinical operational issues on the testing pathway while developing tailored testing solutions as needed. You will demonstrate value by generating insights via strategic partnering stakeholders and maintenance of a high-quality testing infrastructure.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Knowledge and experience in the field of pathology and diagnostic platforms
• Degree in life sciences or equivalent
  
  

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience within diagnostic industry
• M.Sc degree and above in life sciences
• Experience in biomarker testing in oncology
