DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer with strong system administration skills to join our international team. This role is evenly split between DevOps and SRE responsibilities, requiring a candidate with in-depth knowledge of Linux systems, network fundamentals and Cloud (AWS). The successful candidate will manage a fleet of Linux servers in multiple data centers and AWS, and support our high-frequency trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
• Manage and optimize AWS environments, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Manage and maintain a fleet of Linux servers across multiple data centers.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of server infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Perform OS installations, maintenance, and tuning, including kernel and other customizations to optimize performance for low-latency trading.
  
  

• Experience with Configuration Management tools like Ansible, Salt, Puppet etc.
• Experience with Python scripting is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience with Linux systems administration.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and etc.
• Knowledge of security best practices and tools.
• Experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
• Experience with GitLab CI is a plus.
• Understanding of high-frequency trading environments is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in an international team, collaborating across different time zones and cultures.
