Principal PDM Manager - Azure Networking

We are looking for a seasoned Product Management leader to join us in this mission to create most reliable, scalable and secure cloud platform.

As a principal PM manager, this person will be responsible to lead a team of skilled product managers and technical program managers to build Network Security products to protect our users and applications from the ever-advancing cyber security threats and build the right controls and policies in Azure to land the users in a "Secure by Default" posture. The candidate will develop cross organizational skills as this is a very horizontal role with connections to every part of Azure and beyond. This position provides an option to work 100% remote.

Responsibilities

• You will lead teams to define significant business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas across divisions. You’ll also provide strategic direction in identifying long-term investment opportunities and will coach teams to engage partners to garner support for those feature areas.
• You will lead teams in defining a feature set and facilitate mid- and senior-level usability reviews with customers. You’ll lead teams to own the roadmap for multiple feature areas across divisions, and will guide them to build golden configurations and drive scenario walkthroughs.
• You will provide expert insights to help teams scale Product Marketing by building marketing and roll-out plans, as well as coaching them to create customer support plans. You’ll also lead them to promote the feature areas they worked on and oversee team presentations at large events.
• You will provide expertise to help teams partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for technical needs in order to measurably improve product development in targeted areas.
• You’ll also coach teams to identify features to deprecate, and guide them to manage customer communities and build trust with targeted customers across sectors.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
• Experience working on Security or Network Security products and related services
  
  

Other Requirements

• 4+ years people management experience.

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
