Assistant Controller

A large and successful startup (unicorn) in the SaaS field is seeking an Assistant Controller.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a broad and interesting role, reporting to the CFO, with great potential for promotion and professional development.

The offices are located in the central region of Israel, near a train line, with excellent working conditions and hybrid work options

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements and tax reports, including consolidated statements for subsidiaries worldwide
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AR and AP processes
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Work with the company's external auditors
• Calculation of sales representatives' commission

Qualifications:

• CPA with Big 4 experience from the Hi-tech cluster – a must!
• At least 3 years of experience in audit
• Solid understanding of US GAAP principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
• Proficiency in ERP systems
• Excellent Excel skills and fluent English
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
