Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead

Technical lead for the Clearing and Settlement applications Unit, IT Department (Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange, Tel-Aviv).

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Software Engineer with strong problem-solving skills to design and deliver quality products with complex business logic in a distributed system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Make a high impact on the system architecture and software design.
• Translate product requirements into actionable programming tasks.
• Develop new business services and infrastructure while maintaining and improving existing products.
• Promote automated testing, and operational stability.
• Ensure the codebase and infrastructure are technologically up-to-date.
• Perform code reviews to ensuring proper coding standards, security and quality across the development team.
• Mentor developers and foster a collaborative development environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues responsibly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of proven experience in software development.
• Strong backend development background in distributed critical systems.
• Proficiency in our current technological Stack: .Net, .NET FW, C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, MSSQL, WCF, MSMQ, RabbitMQ, gRPC and RESTful services
• Knowledge in Angular, CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, JSON, and jQuery.
• Team player with strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
• A bachelor's degree in computer sciences and/or a graduate of an elite technological IDF unit.
• Exposure to cloud technologies, containers and Kubernetes (k8s) is advantageous
• Familiarity with the capital market and clearance activity is a plus.
