Production Control Coordinator

Job Description:

We are seeking a Production Control Coordinator for a challenging role that includes logistics and shipping management, along with administrative responsibilities to support production activities. This role involves ensuring the availability of raw materials, monitoring inventory, planning production schedules, and maintaining efficient communication within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Raw Material and Inventory Control:

• Monitor the availability of raw materials based on customer orders and work plans.
• Check inventory against production orders to ensure timely procurement by the purchasing department.
• Generate purchase requests and monitor procurement to ensure all necessary materials are ordered promptly.
• Track and control the supply chain between procurement and production.

Production Planning and Progress Monitoring:

• Plan production schedules and track work progress in production.
• Set priorities based on requests from the Customer Service (CS) department.
• Open production orders and coordinate daily production plans.
• Allocate work to the production department and maintain ongoing interaction with employees.
• Define delivery schedules for projects released to production and report delivery dates to the CS department.
• Monitor delivery schedules and report any changes, including reasons for the changes.

Shipping Document Preparation and Coordination:

• Prepare shipping documents for orders and assemblies, including organizing and consolidating all required documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely shipment preparation.
• Track shipments and provide updates to the relevant internal customer success team.

Document Management and System Updates:

• Update and improve shipping documents according to customer requirements.
• Complete all necessary forms for shipments, including customs declarations and manifests.
• Track and close production assemblies in the PRIORITY system.
• Scan documents and update the system with data such as calibration periods, serial numbers, versions, and project reports.

Assistance with Infrastructure Projects:

• Assist with projects involving the IT department, including setting up dashboards to manage all role-related activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role in production and logistics.
• Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, preferably PRIORITY.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
