Overview:
Alpha Tau is a medical device company located in Jerusalem, developing and commercializing an innovative cancer treatment utilizing alpha radiation. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Researcher with a robust background in Immunology, specifically with experience in cancer immunology. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cancer immunological mechanisms and proven experience with in vivo cancer models.

Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and report experiments utilizing animal models to investigate the cross-talk between the immune system and tumors and therapeutic interventions.
• Plan and conduct experiments according to the research plan, including data analysis and statistical evaluation.
• Read and present relevant literature in journal clubs.
• Write publications and present results at conferences.
• Write protocols, SOPs, reports, and ethical requests.
• Serve as the GLP study director, ensuring compliance with GLP standards.
• Act as the focal point for flow cytometry and BOND operations.
  
  

• PhD in Immunology or a related field with a focus on cancer immunology and in vivo research.
• At least 5 years of experience in cell culture and animal studies.
• Expertise in techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, cell culture, and immunohistochemistry/fluorescence staining.
• Experience with GLP and SOPs is a plus.
• High scientific writing skills with a track record of publications as the first author.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data effectively and collaborate across interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong team player with high communication skills.

• In vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo methods.
• Writing scientific papers as the first author.
