The role

Kaltura is seeking an AI Researcher to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the company's AI capabilities, focusing on developing new AI-driven solutions and enhancing existing products. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to bring AI insights and applications into Kaltura's product offerings.

The day-to-day:

• Conduct cutting-edge research in AI, machine learning, and related fields.
• Develop and implement AI algorithms and models to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI solutions into Kaltura's products and services.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
• Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
• Mentor and collaborate with other team members on AI projects.
• Evaluate and improve the performance of AI models and systems.
• Assist in the deployment and scaling of AI models in production environments.

Ideally, we’re looking for:

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
• Proven experience in conducting research and publishing papers in reputable conferences and journals.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with video technology and applications is a plus.

These would also be nice:

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Prior experience in a similar role within the technology or media industry.
