Safety Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Engineer to join our team at the Safed plant.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical information on safety, occupational health, and environmental quality as part of the project planning team.
• Develop new safety procedures and upgrade existing work/maintenance procedures.
• Perform statistical analyses and root cause investigations.
• Plan and implement safety components in engineering systems.
• Support work teams and investigate safety incidents.

Requirements:

• Relevant studies in safety/environment/mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering - Technician level.
• Good Excel skills and Good English proficiency.
• At least two years of experience with machinery related roles.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental management standards (ISO 14001/ISO 45001).
• Good communication skills.
• Safety officer course - an advantage, not a must.
