MetaOr AI is at the forefront of innovation, blending deep learning into real-time products across various domains such as cyber data, navigation sensors, medical information, and more. We specialize in real-time signal processing and solving key algorithm challenges using the power of AI while integrating physical models.
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD/MSc student with a strong background in engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field to join our team as a part-time Deep Learning & Navigation Engineer. The successful candidate will collaborate on cutting-edge research projects involving inertial navigation systems, signal processing, and machine/deep learning applied to state-of-the-art products. Talented candidates will have the opportunity to take part in pioneering research and contribute to publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on research projects involving inertial navigation systems, signal processing, cyber data, and machine/deep learning.
- Develop and implement real-time algorithms.
- Participate in data collection and analysis using inertial sensors (field experiments: sea, air, land).
- Work with Kalman filters and other signal processing techniques.
- Ensure real-time considerations such as computational load, latency, and model size are managed effectively (e.g., pruning).
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a PhD or MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent.
- Strong background in inertial navigation systems and experience with inertial sensors.
- Proficient in Kalman filter and other signal-processing techniques.
- Experience with training DNNs such as Transformers, Autoencoders, CNNs, Bi-LSTMs, GANs, and more.
- Knowledge of Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, TensorFlow Lite.
- Understanding of real-time considerations such as computational load, latency, and model size management.
- Knowledge of C is an advantage.
- Publications in the field are a big advantage.
- Good communication skills and enthusiasm for both navigation and deep learning.
Additional Information:
- Relevant experience should be from both deep learning and inertial navigation.
- Close areas of relevance include robotics and signal processing.
- Work position is part-time (50%) with the option to continue to full-time.
- Job location is hybrid, in Israel.
