Senior GenAI Manager, Innovation Labs

The Innovation Labs team perform research and implementation in many advanced domains spanning across AI, Machine learning, NLP, Analytics, Blockchain/Distributed Ledger Technology and many more.

We're on the hunt for a highly skilled and experienced senior Engineering manager to lead the delivery of Generative AI solutions at the Citi Innovation Lab. The ideal candidate has excellent track record in high scale engineering products and specifically AI solutions. In this role, you'll be a key player in driving innovative projects throughout the bank using generative AI and Large Language Models.

We are currently looking for an excellent leader to manage a data science team in the Tel-Aviv Innovation Lab. In this role, you will lead several GenAI initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of data scientists and data engineers in the GenAI space
• Be a thought leader and go-to expert for GenAI topics, strategy, and long-term vision
• Lead and conduct deep-dive analyses to identify needs and priorities with various business units
• Facilitate data-driven and informed decision making and prioritization across your portfolio
• Develop strong cross-functional partnerships with business and tech units across Citi
• Engage with technical and business stakeholders to define and design solution concepts
• Lead the design and implement highly complex technological PoC's and products
• Explore multiple technologies in various domains for solving complex business problems
• Connect and integrate with other internal platforms within Citi and with 3rd parties
  
  

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, or other quantitative fields. PhD - preferred
• At least 12 years of relevant experience in research, software, and data science domains
• 5 years+ experience in Machine Learning, delivering complex solutions to production.
• Great passion and proven hands-on experience with GenAI technologies
• Strong and diverse technical background. Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies, influence highly skilled engineering teams and overall have a personal impact on technology decisions and vision.
• Vast experience with cloud architectures, and specific experience with public cloud offerings
• In-depth knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other open sources libraries / APIs or similar.
• Demonstrated Leadership and organizational abilities
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Experience working in agile development methodologies, and in fast cycles
• Proven experience with building highly complex systems and architectures
• Experience with financial products - advantage
