Role Summary:

We are looking for a scientist with a strong technical background that is looking to make a change in their career (or continue an existing one). An opportunity for someone from the field who is looking to help shape the future-technology used by scientists in their day-to-day work. This function will work with Simploud’s product management, customer success and sales departments. In this role you’ll help shape the future of digital lab management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scientific Liaison: Act as a bridge between the scientific community and Simploud's product team, ensuring that our solutions align with the needs and challenges arise from the field.
• Product Input: Provide vital technical and scientific insights during product development, ensuring tools are accurate, relevant, and user-friendly for scientists.
• Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with the customer success team to understand client feedback, requirements, and any challenges faced by users, making sure the product meets market demands.
• Sales Support: Work with the sales team to provide technical expertise during product demonstrations, and Q&A sessions. Assist in translating complex scientific processes into understandable terms.
• Training & Onboarding: Develop and deliver training materials for both internal teams and external clients.
• Stay Updated: Continuously monitor advancements in the field, ensuring Simploud remains at the forefront of industry developments.
• Market Analysis: Conduct research to understand current market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the product team in testing and validation processes, ensuring the tools meet industry standards and scientific accuracy.

Skills & Qualifications:

• MSc/Ph.D. in biomedicine, biotechnology or similar with laboratory bench experience (preferably in the biotech/pharma industry).
• Experience with SaaS products.
• Demonstrable leadership skills; working both independently and in team settings.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Programmatic skills are a plus.
• Experience with or knowledge of GMP is a plus.
• Fluent in English, German is a plus.
• Adaptable to rapid-paced settings with strong self-initiative and proactive execution.
