Financial Director

Director of Finance (Full-Time)

Location: Herzliya Pituach, Israel

About Us: Earth & Beyond Ventures is an early-stage VC fund specializing in deep-tech innovations, backed by top-tier corporate and financial investors. We also operate an incubator to support our startup portfolio in partnership with the Israel Innovation Authority.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy and Planning:

· Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with our goals.

· Collaborate with senior management to establish financial targets and objectives.

2. Financial Management, Reports and Compliance:

· Prepare and oversee all financial operations and reports of EBV and our portfolio startups, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow management, financial analysis, periodic reports to IIA, tax authorities and to management.

· Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

· Ensure compliance with Israeli accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

· Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders.

· Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Fund Management:

· Prepare and send capital calls to limited partners.

· Prepare and send period reports to limited partners.

· Respond to incoming information requests from limited partners.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Controller/VP Finance, preferably in a tech incubator, venture capital fund or startup.

· Between 8-14 year work experience

· Bachelors degree in finance or accounting. CPA certification. MBA (advantage).

· Experience in an Audit role with a Big 4 firm (advantage).

· Familiarity with IIA regulations and reporting requirements (advantage).

· Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
