We are seeking a visionary Head of Software Engineering to lead our global R&D unit across Israel and India, driving excellence in development methodologies, product quality, and security.

A day in your life

• Leadership – Lead 5 development and infrastructure teams across various technology domains, nurturing a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Global – Direct and evolve our global R&D teams in Israel, India, and Romania, ensuring cohesive and efficient operations.
• R&D Strategy – Initiate and drive strategic initiatives to continuously improve development methodologies, product architecture, and security measures.
• Team building – Facilitate hiring and staffing strategies, including recruiting and mentoring new team members, to bolster employee development and knowledge transfer.
• Product lifecycle management – Own and improve key product lines' lifecycle from conceptualization through deployment.
• Business orientation – Foster collaboration with product owners and customer success teams to align product development with market needs and customer feedback.
• Excellence culture – Promote continuous learning and professional growth within your teams, emphasizing technical mentorship and personal development.

What it takes to succeed

• Proven track record of effectively managing and scaling R&D teams from 20 to 50 individuals.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience within technology companies, preferably in mid to small-sized organizations, demonstrating effective leadership and team development.
• Experience with managing global teams with cultural diversity.
• Experience in establishing and tracking R&D team performance metrics to measure
• innovation output and project success.
• Demonstrated ability to hire and grow senior leaders and managers.
• Expertise in Cloud-based product development, including platforms and infrastructure.
• Solid foundation in software engineering, supported by a BSc or BA in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in various work methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and Squads, with the ability to integrate and optimize these frameworks within our development processes.
• Excellent communication skills and proven experience with key stakeholders, including internal departments, external partners, and customers (Excellent English is A Must).
