Courier Business Operations Lead

Job Description

As the Courier Business Operations Lead , you will drive innovation across all aspects of operations within the ISR region. This includes flexing to support other members of your regional operations leadership team for particularly challenging problems but also spearheading the innovation for new ideas and projects within your region. Whether it be a new courier partnership model, Establishing and implementing a road-safety cross-country roadmap, or a new delivery mode altogether you will be responsible for bringing structure to ambiguous situations and helping drive forward progress in projects that have a direct effect on our license to operate and on platform economy as a whole.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Form strategies and processes for rolling out short and long-term changes to the courier operations organization in ISR
• Effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders across all functions of the company to drive outcomes for your specific projects including but not limited to Operations, product, marketing, legal, policy, local, and global business teams.
• Utilize your analytical skills to create data-driven hypotheses of how to solve complex problems involving all sides of the Wolt marketplace.
• Own the outcomes of specific projects that you own that are decided on quarterly and intraquarter with the Regional Head of Operations based on the nuances and needs of your specific region.
• Monitor KPIs and conduct analyses to unpack why performance is what it is and devise strategies to meet or exceed the targets for your region.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to improve our operations and stay ahead of the competition.
  
  

• 7+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or cross-org project management
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights, working with varsity CRM systems
• Proficient in using data analysis tools and software- a high level in Excel is a must!
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
• Out-of-the-box thinker who’s inspired by challenges
• Fluency in English and Hebrew is required
