Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT and Security Compliance Specialist to assist in managing our IT infrastructure, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) systems, and support the development of procedures required for SOC 2 compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with foundational IT knowledge and a strong desire to grow in the cybersecurity and compliance fields.

Key Responsibilities

IT Management Support:

• Manage IT infrastructure for optimal performance and security.
• Support network security, data protection, and system monitoring.
• Help implement and maintain IT policies and procedures.

Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR):

• Deploy, manage, and monitor EDR solutions.
• Respond to security incidents and threats.

Growth Opportunities

SOC 2 Compliance Support:

• Assist in developing and maintaining SOC 2 compliance procedures.
• Participate in risk assessments.
• Prepare SOC 2 audit documentation.

Policy and Procedure Development:

• Write and update IT and security policies.
• Ensure policies align with industry standards.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Integrate IT and security practices across departments.
• Communicate IT and security risks and policies.
• Report IT and security status to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Up to 2 years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or a related role.
• Familiarity with EDR solutions and security incident response.
• Basic understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
