Maintenance Support Engineer

Job Description Summary

The Maintenance Support Engineer at the Dalia (Tzafit) Power Plant will support preventive and corrective maintenance activities on site to ensure the achievements of targets derived from contractual, technical and commercial obligations.

Job Description

Main responsibilities:

• Work according to GE Quality and EHS standards and Israeli regulations.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager to coordinate the daily and weekly operation of the Maintenance Department.
• Participate in preparing and executing planned and unplanned activities, ensuring plant availability, reliability and performance while taking into consideration budget and costs.
• Support the Maintenance Manager in planning and executing major maintenance outages, including managing spare parts inventory, procurement processes and subcontractor relations.
• Support Maintenance Manager in control of CMMS, specific documentation and reporting requirements.
• Work closely with the Maintenance leaders (Mechanical, Electrical, I&C) to ensure daily and weekly tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner and to support troubleshooting on technical issues.
• Specific focus on Quality aspects and compliance, as well as leading processes for FMEA and MOC. Analyze event reports and implement necessary corrective actions as part of RCA methodology.
• Work closely with various stakeholders on site to ensure coordination and cooperation between all parties, as well as with the GE O&M COE.
• Execution of special projects as delegated by Maintenance Manager.
