Head of Data Analytics

One of our Clients - A Leading E-commerce Tech Startup in Tel Aviv - is Seeking a Data Leader

We are a headhunting agency advertising this role for one of our clients, a thriving e-commerce startup based in Tel Aviv with 90 employees.

We are looking for a Data Lead to shape and execute the data strategy, using data to drive strategic decisions, improve operations, and support growth. This role combines technical skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of e-commerce. The company is financially stable, and the position is within one of its business units, touching upon all areas of data.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with our goals.
• Analyze complex data on consumer behavior, market trends, and performance.
• Apply advanced methods and tools for data analysis, predictive analytics, and machine learning.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in data management and analytics.
• Work with teams to identify and leverage data-driven business opportunities.
• Provide data-driven insights to the executive team and stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

• Expertise in data analysis, strategy, ideally in e-commerce.
• Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools (SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to turn data insights into business strategies.

Prerequisites:

• Bachelor's degree in, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 5 years in a data-centric role
• Proven experience in developing and implementing data strategies in growing businesses.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, consumer behavior analytics, and digital marketing metrics. - advantage
• Experience as marketing and/or product analyst
