Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to be the first point of contact for our members and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for health and fitness. This role is crucial in ensuring our members have a seamless and enjoyable experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet members and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
• Handle membership inquiries and sign-ups, providing detailed information about our programs and services
• Manage check-ins and ensure accurate record-keeping of member attendance
• Respond to phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
• Assist with scheduling classes, personal training sessions, and other gym activities
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
• Support the management team with administrative tasks as needed
• Address member concerns and provide exceptional customer service to resolve issues promptly
• Promote and sell gym merchandise and membership packages

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in fitness or customer service is a plus
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fitness or health club environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using computers and gym management software
• Passion for fitness and a genuine interest in helping others achieve their fitness goals
• Availability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
