Security Researcher

A startup in the Big Data field is developing technology that seamlessly and quickly integrates with enterprise applications, automatically classifying data to identify sensitive information and improve its protection.

The company is backed by investors, has hundreds of paying customers with long-term contracts, and in recent quarters has surpassed the most optimistic expectations, experiencing exponential growth.

Located in the central region, the company combines remote work and employs 200 people globally, half of whom are based in Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Research security posture in different cloud providers, deep down into identity architectures and authorization mechanisms, as well as AI and data services.

• Set up playground environments for self-research, facing complicated configurations and varied access options.

• Create best practices and data security policies based on research findings.

• Stay up to date with the latest developments in the cyber security field: including the latest trends, techniques, and threats in the cyber security field.

• Collaborate closely with the Engineering, Research and Product teams to transform research insights into product features.

Requirements-

• 3 years' experience in the security research field.

• Experience with security posture research delivered insights and best practice policy configurations.

• Working Knowledge and proven experience in programming and scripting in Python and Bash\cloud CLI.

• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Experience delivering security detections for product and R&D

• Show initiative and autonomy in driving projects forward, requiring minimal supervision.
