Trading Room operation specialist

A leading financial organization is looking for a trading room operation specialist

The Trade Support Unit provides services to the trading room and brokerage, following the business activities of the department. The operational activities include off-exchange transactions and custodian services for Israeli securities with local exchange members. Additionally, it supports trading processes in foreign securities and foreign exchange. The unit is also responsible for consolidation, reporting, and management in brokerage and trading-related areas, as well as for the branches.

Job Description:

• Provide operational support for the needs of brokerage traders and OTC trading room.
• Provide support for customer needs within the unit's areas of responsibility.
• Work with foreign customers in the trading room.
• Work with local and international brokers.
• Operate custodian transactions and off-exchange transactions within the existing custodian unit.
• Integrate into head office tasks in key processes within the department and division.
• The role includes executing and managing a reinforcement team for 3 shifts a week within the unit (up to 19:00/closing of the exchange clearinghouse).

Work Experience:

• Academic degree in Economics/Business Administration.
• Experience working in the capital market within financial institutions.
• Investment advisor - an advantage.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Experience working with SQL - an advantage.
• High-level English.
• Proficiency in office software.
