R&D Operations Coordinator

Meala team is expanding again!

We are seeking talented and motivated and detail oriented R&D/Operations Coordinator to join us in revolutionizing the alternative protein market.

In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the smooth transition of projects and products from the research and development phase to full-scale operations.

As a R&D/Operations Coordinator at Meala you will:

• Work closely with R&D teams to understand project timelines, requirements, and objectives
• Develop and maintain detailed transition plans for moving projects and products to operations
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration during the transition process.
• Track project progress and milestones, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Identify and address any issues or roadblocks that may arise during the transition
• Support operations team members in taking over project responsibilities and ensuring a successful handover
• Lead pilot testing between the R&D and Operations.

Please apply if you have:

• BSc/ MSc in Biotechnology / Food Science / Material science / Chemical Engineering/ Chemistry / industrial engineering.
• Expert in powder formulations.
• Strong project management skills, experience in transitioning project from R&D to to operations.
• Hands-on laboratory experience and skills
• Scale up experience – an must.
• Experience in the protein and food industry – an advantage
• Experience in alternative/ plant-based meat company- great advantage
• Experience in developing and applying research methodologies and protocols.
• fluent in English – a must
• Ability to think out of the box and be creative.
• highly motivated person, seeking to push the boundaries.
• Team player - work in a multidisciplinary team
