Research and Development Project Manager

Rapid Medical, located in Yokneam, is a fast-growing medical device company focused on developing, manufacturing, and selling innovative devices for endovascular interventional procedures.

LOCATION: Yokneam, Israel

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new medical devices as well as improve existing designs.

• Managing the product development process during the R&D phase.

• Creating and managing project schedules, plans, and budgets.

• Recruiting and managing subcontractors as needed, managing an internal engineering team in a matrix organization.

• Ensuring compliance with DHF and DMR requirements.

• Responsible for verification and validation of medical device performance.

• Providing R&D support to the clinical studies and regulatory submission phases.

• Developing and managing risk mitigation strategies for the project.

• Coordinating product development activities across different departments, including R&D, RA, QA, and more, as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with mechanical orientation from the Technion or other recognized universities.

• 3-5 years of experience as an R&D Engineer/Project manager in the medical devices industry.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in technical project management.

• High-level English skills – reading, writing, and speaking.

• Excellent teamwork ability and interpersonal skills.

• Hands-on approach.

• Organized and methodical.
