Warehouse Coordinator

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. The Purchasing Coordinator will support the operations team in managing the supply chain. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in managing procurement processes, including monitoring purchase requests, obtaining quotes, negotiating, placing new orders, and expediting existing ones.

• Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

• Prepare purchase orders and review them for accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.

• Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues with suppliers regarding deliveries or invoices.

• Work closely with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure they are met.

• Research potential suppliers and stay informed about market trends and pricing.

• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.

• Manage the local warehouse – including inventory count periodically, fulfill internal orders and update records in the ERP system

• Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the procurement team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Bus. Admin., Supply Chain Management, or a related field – Preferred

• Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role – an advantage

• Background on how to manage a warhorse

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Familiarity with Priority and/or other procurement software or ERP systems – an advantage

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of sourcing strategies and negotiation techniques

• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and procedures
