Role Description

The team is a core backend team, responsible for high performance services that serve both customers and other system components.

The team is also responsible for operational data management and other infrastructure services and flows that allow the system to remain in high performance at all times.

Tech stack:

Included among other things: Java, Spring, Cassandra, Aerospike, Mysql, Protobuf, Spark, AWS services (SQS, Lambda, S3, Athena, EMR and others), Redis, and more.

What will you do:

Be a part of a growing backend infrastructure team and take ownership of core backend services.

Develop backend components with high throughput and near real time latency.

Take part in technologically advanced great projects.

Solve diverse, complex problems at large scale.

Collaborate with the Data Pipeline / Data Science / DevOps / Frontend development / Product and other teams.

You will have a significant role in a small company in which everyone is crucial and must be part of an elite group.

Who are you:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience in Golang.
• Strong server-side.
• Experience in working with Spark.
• Experience with high throughput, low latency, mission-critical distributed systems.
• Experience with large-scale production databases.
• B.Sc. in computer science or an equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results in a highly collaborative setting.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes and desire to learn and grow.
• Bonus points:

Experience in AdTech, understanding of ORTB.

Experience in web clients, and HTTP/Rest APIs.

Experience with development of SAAS products.

BigData oriented development experience.

Experience in working with Aerospike.

Experience in working with Spring.

Experience in working with EMR.

Experience with Docker & Kubernetes.

Extensive experience in working with Maven.
