Cyber Security Analyst

Cynamics is an Israeli startup that develops an AI-based SaaS solution for complete network visibility and threat prediction in the networks of the world's largest and most complex organizations.

We are looking to increase our Cybersecurity research team in the IL site, working from the Sapir building in the Ramat-Gan Bursa area in a hybrid flexibility. The ideal candidate is a team player, multidisciplinary, who will proactively seek ways to improve and optimize the system and the collective knowledge. Working with high standards for code quality, research process, and customer satisfaction. The position requires a fast learning curve, a high level of experience, and the ability to work on features, from design through implementation to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Developing new and existing cybersecurity detection engines: from conception to research, materialization, and maintenance. From data analysis to engineering.
• Designing and developing Cynamics software in an AWS environment.
• Working closely with the R&D and product teams in creating cutting-edge solutions.
• Taking ownership of features to completion and becoming a knowledge source in several fields.
• Working with clients during proof-of-values and collaborating with the customer success team in creating top notch user experience.

Requirements

• 3+ experience in cyber analysis and security research
• Strong Python engineering skills
• Deep understanding in networking technologies and protocols, flow based network data, firewalls, network access controls and network-based attacks
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Excellent English communication skills – spoken and written.
• proficiency in pandas - an advantage
• Experience with AWS cloud environments - an advantage
• Familiarity with SQL, MongoDB, or other query languages - an advantage
• BSc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other relevant degrees - an advantage
