R&D Integrator (Validation Engineer)

A leading Ag-tech/Food-tech startup is actively seeking a R&D Integrator, to develops and implements solutions integrating new concepts into existing designs. This role involves evaluating systems, testing and validating designs, and ensuring seamless operation and integration.

Definition & Responsibilities:

• Test and validate new designs and concepts, provide feedback, and suggest improvements.
• Conduct experiments and write detailed reports.
• Calibrate, repair, and troubleshoot systems.
• Perform wiring and mechanical setups.
• Collaborate with biology and engineering teams.
• Serve as the technical focal point with comprehensive knowledge of Greenonyx’s technology, machine components, and processes.

Requirements:

• Practical Engineer or Technician in mechanics/instrumentation and control.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in debugging, operating, and maintaining industrial systems in an R&D environment.
• Extensive hands-on and practical experience.
• Experience with various manufacturing technologies such as plastics, rapid prototyping, sheet metal, CNC, structures, water treatment systems, and aseptic processes.

Skills:

• High technical proficiency in electrical wiring and soldering.
• Understanding of mechanical principles and mechanisms.
• Start-up mindset – flexible, agile, and open; previous experience in startup environments required.
• Must be a hands-on field worker capable of executing tasks efficiently.
• Ability to initiate tasks, manage projects, and work independently.
• Independent, fast learner, self-motivated, able to multitask, detail- and deadline-oriented, and an out-of-the-box thinker.
• Well-organized and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
