QC Manager

Incumbent:

Department : RA/QA/QC

Reports to: VP RA QA CA

CollPlant Biotechnologies is developing technologies in the fields of regenerative medicine, 3D bioprinting of tissues and organs and medical aesthetics. We are looking for a highly motivated QC manager that will responsible for supervising the QC staff and maintaining quality control processes, analyzing the results and giving feedback and guidance to the production team.

Primary job responsibilities:

Manage QC and analytical activities

Incorporation of analytical methods into QC standards

Perform routine in-process and release tests of production and R&D batches

Prepare work instructions, protocols, and reports for analytical methods

Provide scientific and analytical Support to R&D, operations QC and QA

Outsource analytical tests to external labs and supervise them

Training of Lab technicians

Build budget and work plans for QC department and manage them according to the company objectives

Position skills:

MSC in Biochemistry/ Microbiology

At least 5 years’ experience in QC in pharmaceutical/ biotechnology companies

At least 3 years managerial experience

Proven; experience in clean room environmental monitoring

Strong background in proteins analysis techniques (HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting and other colorimetric methods).

Significant experience in chemical analysis and / or Microbiological methods

Strong background in ICH guidelines is required

Very good organizational and management skills

Very good laboratory techniques and results interpretation skills

High level English verbal and writing

Very good Office skills ( Excel, Word, Power point and Project)

Internal contacts:

Close collaboration with manufacturing departments, , QA , R&D and operations.

External Contacts:

Outsourced Labs and Subcontractor, vendors and suppliers
