Astoria Cyber is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant as part of the Advisory Department to carry out a diverse range of high-level services. The ideal candidates must possess a background as both a security practitioner and consultant, along with extensive expertise in cyber technology and a genuine enthusiasm for cyber security. Moreover, applicants should demonstrate a service-oriented mindset, exceptional communication abilities, and a strong inclination to learn and collaborate with top-notch professionals in the industry.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate and lead various and complex cyber projects

worldwide.

• Conduct thorough assessments of security status, configurations, and cyber security plans

strategies, identifying areas for improvement and anticipating future requirements.

• Provide consultation on various cyber security projects, including the development of

comprehensive security plans and the implementation of effective security measures.

• Assist clients in enhancing their internal capabilities through training sessions focused on fundamental cyber security practices, risks, and recommended mitigation techniques.

• Generate expert-level reports and present assessment findings to divers clientele, devising customized plans to address specific cyber risks and vulnerabilities.

• Providing professional support to other team members.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity.

• Proven Knowledge of cybersecurity design and architecture.

• Hands-on experience with Firewalls, Servers, and networking.

• Proven Experience in writing procedures and documents in the field of information security.

• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Self-learning abilities.

• Drivng license.

• Team player - Must

Advantage:

• Previous experience s a cybersecurity consultant.

• Knowledge of SCADA systems – big advantage.

• One or more certifications/proven skills and experience of:CISSP, CCNP, MCITP, or equivalent military tech training.

• Proven presentation skills and experience in engaging with clients, showcasing the ability to articulate and document technical information i a clear and comprehensible manner.
