Product Designer

The primary purpose of the Product Designer role at our SaaS product company is to lead and innovate in the design of user interfaces and experiences across our product suite. This role involves a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors, translating them into engaging and functional design solutions that align with our business objectives. The Product Designer will be instrumental in ensuring our products are not only aesthetically pleasing but also intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly.

General duties and responsibilities:

• Design Development: Conceptualize and create intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing designs for our SaaS products. This includes developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions. Analyze user feedback and behavior to continuously improve the user experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketers, to ensure design vision is aligned with product goals and executed accurately.
• Design Advocacy: Advocate for best practices in design, including accessibility, usability, and user-centric methodologies.
• Feedback Integration: Regularly review user feedback and analytics to iterate and refine product designs, ensuring they meet the needs of the target audience.
  
  

• Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to our company’s brand guidelines and contribute to the evolution of our visual brand identity.
• Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in design and SaaS products, bringing innovative ideas and approaches to the team.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior design team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the design team.
• Stakeholder Presentations: Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders, effectively communicating design rationale and potential impact.
  
  

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 4 years of professional experience in product design, with a proven track record in designing for SaaS or similar digital products (App & Web)
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, etc. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and web technologies is preferred.
• Portfolio Requirement: A strong portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of UI/UX principles, design thinking, and problem-solving through design.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
