Senior Project Manager

Position Summary

Innodata is seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience managing complex technology implementation projects of both small and large scale. We are seeking someone who has the ability to understand client requirements and collaboratively strategize an approach to meet client needs with a team of experts; Someone who is action-oriented, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders on all levels; Someone who can develop and manage project plans and project teams, manage risk and consistently communicate status of work; Someone who is detailed oriented while possessing the ability to understand the larger and longer term vision of clients to ensure engagement initiatives are beneficial both now and in the future.

• Manage end-to-end technology implementation projects from conception through completion.
• Manage multi-functional project teams, utilizing agile project management methodologies and tools to consistently deliver value to both internal and external clients.
• Host agile ceremony meetings with defined goals, frequencies, and lengths to help project teams plan, track, and engage stakeholders with work and increase visibility into project initiatives and manage risk.
• Host internal and external governance calls to ensure stakeholders on all levels are aware and aligned with new project developments. Initiate leadership decision making when required.
• Develop relationships with clients to raise Innodata’s profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner and keep deepening your prowess in applied AI technology to reinforce Innodata’s reputation as a thought leader.
• Provide 1-on-1 mentorship and coaching to project team members to contribute to Innodata’s growth and capability development.
• Utilize change management methodologies to facilitate seamless transitions and streamline organizational procedures and communications for clients.
• Serve as a point of escalation for client partners, with an attitude of relentlessly working to solve problems.
• Foster strong internal and external networks and work with and across multiple teams to achieve business objectives.
• Lead authentically and with a people-first mindset that fosters inclusivity and celebrates diversity. Mentor junior members of the Intelligent Enterprise Strategy team, providing them with experiences to continually learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day agile project management (JIRA experience preferred)
• Host agile ceremony meetings
• Host governance meetings
• Manage communications across all stakeholders
• Create report templates based on client and send on cadence
• Manage project budget and hour burn down
• Identify, report on and manage risks and issues
• Contribute to solution scoping and definition
• Lead and manage effective teams including individuals from different disciplines
• Structure and price complex client engagements
• Monitor financial performance of engagements
• Actively participate in new business development activities
• Practice development, including recruiting, training, thought leadership and community building

Travel: While this is a remote position, some travel may be necessary, international, and domestic, to support existing and prospective clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field, communication related field, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in technology project/program management (agile preferred) at a senior level, managing both small and large teams.
• A minimum of 3 years working to implement projects for external clients.
• Proven exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven extreme attention to detail.
• Proven exceptional client service skills.
