PixCell Medical is looking for a passionate, experienced Lead  System Engineer to join its growing team. We are looking for a talented Systems Engineer to participate in improving our products’ performance, develop new capabilities and processes.

The company develops and distributes hematology analyzers for the enumeration of blood cells using machine vision, AI and microfluidics technologies.

The System Eng. will be responsible for the company product’s complete lifecycle, specifically with new feature definitions, implementation, performance evaluation, validation & verification, and high-level service according to applicable regulations.

Responsibilities:

• System engineering of new products and features development:

  • Understanding clinical and marketing demands, and translate them to system requirements
  • Specify test procedures, review and validate performance
  • Perform system and process level risk assessment and mitigation.

• Develop and implement production and quality control tools.

• Technical lead of various R&D and validation tasks.

• Failure analysis and providing preventive actions and design changes.

Desired Skills & Experience:

The candidate must be highly experienced in multidisciplinary product development, passionate about his / her work, and a team player. He/ she has to combine technical excellence with attentiveness to small details and the ability to deliver on time and quality.

Candidates must have:

• B.Sc. in either Electrical Eng. / Computer Science / Biomedical Eng. from an established university. Preference to MA or MsC in one of these subjects.

• 3+ years of experience in system engineering in a multidisciplinary project involving software development, algorithms, mechanics and electronics.

• High level of programming in MATLAB  or Python.

• Experience with medical/ diagnostic equipment design, quality and regulatory requirements - advantage

• Experience with image processing/ machine vision / electro-optic systems - advantage

• Hands-on experimentalist. Strong troubleshooting capabilities. Self-motivated and independant.

• Open-minded engineer /scientist who is inquisitive and eager to learn.

• Organized person, capable of leading multiple complicated technical tasks

• High level of English, written and oral.

• Good interpersonal skills.
