Big Data Developer

A leading company specializing in enhancing programmatic advertising performance and efficiency is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Big Data Developer to join their innovative Data Engineering team in Tel Aviv.

Data, service, and planning capabilities are the company's superpowers, enabling its clients to better reach and understand audiences across screens. You will be a part of the company's Data Management platform, responsible for processing, storing, and serving data for all of the company's core systems.

As a Senior Big Data Developer, you will be encouraged to take a proactive and autonomous approach in research and development while working collaboratively with the team. Our ideal candidate is a fast but thorough problem solver and a fun person to work with!

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and own features end-to-end, from design to production, with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
• Contribute to building and designing the next generation of the company's identity solutions.
• Implement high-scale Big Data solutions and contribute to the company's platform infrastructure and architecture.
• Research core technologies and integrate with external APIs and services.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Product, Engineering, and Data providers.
• Lead and mentor other developers through complex projects that impact the company's core business.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 6+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, ETLs, and streaming systems using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• 3+ years of experience in Java or Scala.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with performance tuning and high-scale systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with GitLab, Grafana, InfluxDB, and Kibana is an advantage.
