We are seeking a talented, experienced, and creative Senior Backend Data Engineer, you’ll be responsible for and specialize in the development of new data infrastructures and data products for the company. In this position, you will report to the Data Engineering Manager, and you will play a key role in a fast-growing team with significant impact and potential for professional and personal growth.

Responsibilities - what you will be doing:

• Be a key player in architecting and implementing Bluewhite’s data pipelines
• Lead end-to-end design of ETLs, data structure, database ingestion, and management from the architectural phase through development to deployment in production
• Contribute to Bluewhite’s next-generation products on our extensive data lake
• Collaborate effectively with team members, deliver rapid and well-tested features, and contribute significantly to our overall business achievements
  
  

Requirements:

Requirements - does this describe you?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science -must
• At least 4 years of experience in data infrastructure, big data, and data engineering
• Proficiency in Python and Java, with the ability to effectively use it for data manipulation, analysis, and pipeline development in a large-scale data environment
• Cloud computing experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar)
• Experience in one of the following database systems: Snowflake, ClickHouse, BigQuery, or similar
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes environments
• Strong expertise in Apache Spark is highly advantageous
• A highly motivated and results-driven self-starter, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You should be able to learn independently and thrive in a high-paced environment
