About the Position:

Join an innovative R&D team as an Upstream Bioprocess R&D Scientist. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct experiments to develop and optimize upstream bioprocesses.
• Utilize advanced fermentation techniques to enhance growth and productivity.
• Monitor and control fermentation parameters, including pH, temperature, DO, and nutrient supply, to ensure optimal growth conditions.
• Scale up processes from laboratory to pilot and production scales.
• Employ aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during the handling and processing of cultures.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on industry experience in upstream bioprocessing.
• Strong knowledge of cell biology, microbiology, and biochemistry.
• Expertise in fermentation techniques.
• Proficiency in cleanroom practices and aseptic techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
