V&V Engineer

Novelrad is a growing start-up company, developing minimally invasive medical devices for cardiovascular applications. We are looking for a V&V Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

As a V&V Engineer in Novelrad you will have a wide range of responsibilities including for R&D mechanical bench testing, pre-clinical testing (In-Vivo and Ex-vivo), quality control testing and quality control inspections. As part of your roll, you will be collaborating with cross functional team members from R&D, Operation, QA and RA.

The main responsibilities within this role:

• Design, develop and execute R&D and Verification and Validation testing.
• Design, develop and execute pre-clinical (In-Vivo and Ex-vivo) studies.
• Responsible for writing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test protocols and reports.
• Analyze, interpret and present data collected during testing.
• Responsible for defining, improving and maintaining test equipment
• Support QA activities related to product development, manufacturing, and ongoing operational processes.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc./BE in engineering, Biomedical/ Biotechnology/Chemistry or equivalent
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the medical device industry

Requirements:

• Work effectively under pressure to meet quality and project deadlines.
• Strong technical skills with hands-on approach.
• Extensive experience with MS Office.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• High self-learning abilities.
• Team player, strong execution, communication & interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge in statistical methods
• Hebrew – native ; English - fluent.

Full-time role at Novelrad office, Kibbutz Metzer.
