Software Engineering Team Lead

A global hi-tech company in the e-commerce sector develops a solution that allows global merchants to provide a local shopping experience based on the user's location. They customize local payment and settlement options in each country.

The company employs 800 people globally, half of whom are in Israel.

About the role

• Managing a team of 6-8 global developers.
• Emphasizing on architecture design, conducting code reviews, and providing technical mentoring.
• Directly reporting to the director.
• Operating a real-time production system 24/7 at a large scale.
• Currently transitioning to a microservices architecture and integrating new technologies
• Technological Stack: Mainly utilizing backend technologies such as .NET, .NET Core, Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS, GraphQL, and MongoDB.

Requirements

• 7 Years of experience in backend software development with TypeScript, NodeJS.
• Proven experience of leading team of 4+ engineers. Larger/multiple teams
• Experience in designing and maintaining event-driven Microservices and Faas
• Several years of experience with AWS cloud Serverless infrastructures and architectures
• Deep expertise with products like API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFormation, SAM, EventBridge.
• Several years of experience designing with both NoSQL, specifically MongoDB and relational databases.
• Experience in building infrastructure, choosing and integrating tools and best practices around development speed, velocity and standardization
• B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent
