Cobol Developer

We are seeking a Cobol Developer to join our team in a successful financial organization in the center region.

Responsibilities:

• Development within the core system of a mortgage bank at a high complexity level.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Cobol applications for our statement systems
• Leading processes within the organization and with business units within the bank.
• Participate in the ongoing maintenance and support of existing systems.
• Collaborating with development team members and parallel development teams.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in COBOL development
• Familiarity with mortgage processes, with a focus on core processes
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system changes
• Ability to independently lead tasks
• Experience working with JIRA
• Knowledge and experience in working with business stakeholders
