A Fintech startup specializing in automated chargeback management has developed the world's first solution specifically designed for eCommerce merchants. By leveraging Big Data and integrating deeply with businesses, they produce the most comprehensive chargeback evidence available, custom-tailored to each store, and submit it on behalf of the merchants.

In the event of a chargeback request, the system collects data from various sources, analyzes it, and identifies relevant information to automatically build and submit the proof document to the bank.

Located in the Shfela region, 5 minutes from the train station, the company operates on a hybrid model with two work-from-home days. They employ 90 people worldwide, with 30 based in Israel. Founded two years ago, the company has raised $14 million in funding.

Job Description: The role involves managing a team of 3-5 employees, with 40% hands-on work. Development is 80% in Node.js and 20% on the client side with TypeScript/JavaScript. The company uses MongoDB, NoSQL, AWS, and Microservices.

Responsibility

• Take a leading role in the team of talented engineers, share your experience and demonstrate your expertise building the market-leading product

• Design and implement the infrastructure of the system including the ingestion, algorithms, performance optimizations, and interactive applications

• Build a highly scalable data platform for diversified and complex data flows

• Have end-to-end ownership: Design, build, ship, measure, and maintain the backend services. You build it — you own it

• Work closely with the fantastic Product team that created an industry-leading SaaS Product-Led-Growth offering

Requirements

• 7+ Years of experience in backend software development with TypeScript, NodeJS.

• Proven experience of leading team of 4+ engineers. Larger/multiple teams

• Experience in designing and maintaining event-driven Microservices and FaaS

• Several years of experience with AWS cloud Serverless infrastructures and architectures

• Deep expertise with products like API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFormation, SAM, EventBridge.

• Several years of experience designing with both NoSQL, specifically MongoDB and relational databases.

• Experience in building infrastructure, choosing and integrating tools and best practices around development speed, velocity and standardization

• B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent
