ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

The Inter-Agency Task Force on Israeli Arab Issues is a non-partisan resource center on Arab citizens of Israel that provides educational services to American Jewish organizations, funders, leaders, and educators.

Educational Programs Developer IATF seeks an Educational Programs Developer with knowledge of Arab society and shared society issues in Israel, as well as the American Jewish field of Israel education. The Educational Programs Developer will work closely with IATF’s Israel and US based teams to grow educational tourism readiness in Arab society with the goal of bringing up-to-date insights, diverse and authentic voices from Arab leaders, changemakers, and public discourse in Israel into meaningful American Jewish educational programs, experiences, and resources. The Educational Programs Developer will accompany partnerships at all stages: (i) building relationships with both hosting organizations and professionals in the field, and with American Jewish organization and their vendors; (ii) preparing each for fruitful learning experiences with Arab communities; (iii) framing, moderating and/or facilitating events and discussions; and (iv) collaborating with IATF team on creating relevant educational resources.

Essential Functions:

• Grow IATF’s network of organizations, speakers, and guides with capacities to share meaningful, current, and authentic insights into Arab society and Jewish-Arab relations in Israel.
• Serve as an educator, content-expert, and field liaison for American Jewish organizations and their vendors, promoting best practices while supporting their abilities to run educational experiences and programs with Arab partners.
• Collaborate with U.S office to develop and implement educational programs for American Jewish organizations:
• Clarify educational goals,
• Identify and prepare presenters,
• Provide or prepare relevant materials,
• Introduce and moderate discussions.
• Support civil sector organizations and leaders in learning about and developing fruitful relationships with American Jewish educational organizations:
• Listen and capture priorities and concerns in the field,
• Serve as a trusted intermediary to new partners,
• Provide resources and trainings on working with American Jewish educational organizations.
• Working closely with IATF team, develop and update the overall strategy of growing an impactful and high-quality educational tourism ecosystem in Arab society.
• Prepare and collaborate on production of educational materials and resources.
• Write newsletter and website posts on your area of activities.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years professional experience with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Arab society issues in Israel, Jewish-Arab relations, shared society, and the field of related organizations and leaders.
• Experience with American Jewish organizations and Israel education field.
• Educational background, training, and group facilitation skills strongly preferred.
• English and Hebrew fluency; Arabic proficiency a strong plus.
• Familiarity and comfort with computer and digital platforms (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, Teams, Canva, Monday or equivalent).
• Facilitation skills a strong plus.
