In this challenging position you will be part of a dynamic research team that develop state-of-the-art products for the food tech industry.
As a researcher at Meala you will:
- Develop innovative ingredients and processes for the food tech industry.
- Identify and analyze new raw materials.
- Develop laboratory and analytical methods.
Please apply if you have:
· BSc/ MSc in Biotechnology / Food Science / Material science / Chemical Engineering/ Chemistry
· Hands-on laboratory experience and skills
· Multidisciplinary researcher- an advantage
- Experience in protein research- an advantage
- Experience in rheology tests and texture tests – an advantage
- Experience in alternative/ plant-based meat company- great advantage
- Experience in developing and applying research methodologies and protocols.
- Industrial research experience- an advantage
- Scale up experience – an advantage.
- fluent in English – a must
- An urge to test new materials and methods.
- Ability to think out of the box and be creative.
- highly motivated person, seeking to push the boundaries.
- Team player - work in a multidisciplinary team
