Laboratory Technician

Company Description

Superfruiter Ltd is a melon breeding company located in Kidron. Our mission is to develop and market high-quality melon varieties with improved fruit size, yield growth, and seed fertility. Our breeding methods are traditional and do not involve genetically modified (GM) or gene editing techniques. The Superfruiter gene, discovered and developed by Dr. Kobi Tadmor from the prestigious Volcani Institute, has been incorporated into our current varieties, including Yellow Canary and Piel De Sapo. We are also working on developing Superfruiter Melons with edible peel, which will revolutionize the melon industry.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Laboratory Technician. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing quality control tests, using laboratory equipment, analyzing data, and implementing procedures to ensure accurate and efficient testing. The Technician will also support other laboratory activities as needed.

• Experience in quality control and analytical skills
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree and last year Students in a related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry) preferred
