Vice President Operations

A well-established and leading logistics company in southern Israel, providing distribution and outsourced warehouse management services to leading Israeli companies, seeks an experienced and qualified VP of Operations to lead the company's operations and take it to the next level. The company offers a dynamic and challenging work environment in a growing and developing company. The position reports to the CEO.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of managers and drivers.
• Planning, managing, and controlling distribution lines.
• Managing efficient and cost-effective work processes.
• Understanding customer needs and developing customized logistics solutions.
• Managing budgets and ensuring profitability.
• Recruiting, training, and motivating employees.
• Working with suppliers, contractors, and external parties.
• Using advanced technologies to improve efficiency.
• Implementing business strategies to expand the company's operations.

Requirements:

• Proven managerial experience of at least 5 years as a logistics/operations manager in the logistics industry.
• In-depth understanding of logistics work processes.
• Experience in managing teams of drivers.
• Experience in warehouse management.
• Experience working with computerized logistics management systems.
• Technological understanding.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
