Billing and Collection Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing accounts receivables, collection, work relationship with customers, and a solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping. As a Billing and Collection specialist at Tres, you will play a key role in designing and maintaining our day-to-day accounts receivable management.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable collection and billing processes.
• Follow up and engage with customers on outstanding payments and resolve any issues causing payment delays
• Resolve Invoice discrepancies and disputes
• Work with the bookkeeping and accounting team to ensure accurate cash application is done in a timely manner and resolve unrecognized payments
• Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information.
• Work closely with the internal team to escalate issues and drive cashflow
• Process internal requests for address changes, completing customer vendor forms
• Distribute invoices and billing statements.

Requirements

• Completed a degree in finance/economics/business management preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 2-3 years of experience as a Collections or Billing specialist (preferably SaaS)
• Excellent English – written and spoken.
• Ability to follow directions, meet strict deadlines, and work independently
• Thrive on high intensity work environment and with a large customer portfolio
• Working knowledge of Priority ERP
• Experience with Billing softwares and CRMs - a plus
