Summary:

Energean is seeking to employ a Cyber Security Technician who will be hands-on in the implementation, support, and maintenance of Energean's operational cyber security measures, including the implementation of tools, procedures, and support for the Security Department in leading cyber projects. The technician will provide technical support for a suite of cyber security tools and products used to protect the company's operational assets from ongoing threats such as information theft, coercion, or unauthorized access.

Key Accountabilities:

• Implementation, maintenance, and support of cyber security products and tools.
• Implement and verify cyber security policies, procedures and directives from CISO.
• Assists the Security Department in managing the operational company cyber security systems.
• Provides operational applicable cyber security consulting to improve the company cyber security posture.
• Supports the ongoing cyber security incidents.
• Supports the cyber security incident research.
• Provides functional knowledge of and ongoing support for cyber security tools and products.
• Participates in the development of company’s processes for operational cyber-security roadmap, providing technical expertise and knowledge of threats and risks.
• Assists with the development and delivery of cyber security related training programs.
• Operation – Mainly in Haifa office and AD-HOC visits to the FPSO
  
  

• Level 3 Security Approval as defined by the regulator
• Cyber basic certification from IDF or Civilian Institute
• Relevant bachelor's degree - an advantage
• Technical cyber security / network / system certifications – an advantage
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Cyber security
• Knowledge of OS internals and administration (Windows/Linux, Servers\Laptops), Active Directory, Group Policy, scripting, etc.
• knowledge and experience with information security systems: EDR, IPS, DNS, Load Balance, WAF, SIEM, Firewall.
• knowledge in networking and protocols (Switching / Routing), Layer2-7, DNS, TCP\IP, SMTP, VPN Etc.
• Relevant courses and qualifications (such as: Linux, CCIE, CCSA, CCNA, ISA and similar) - advantage
