3D printing technician

A leading lighting solution company with a production line of 3d printers is looking for an additive manufacturing technician to manage the production line:

• daily maintenance of the machines.
• assisting the factory floor and production.
• develop and lead the technical aspect of the 3d printing production line.
• assist in the research and prototyping of the design team.

This is a full-time on-site role. The 3D Printing technician will perform day-to-day tasks related to 3D printing technology. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop 3D models, prepare and optimize files for printing, operate and maintain 3D printers, and ensure quality control of printed objects.

Qualifications

• Can-do attitude, eager-to-learn, and hands-on approach.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks, Blender, fusion360
• Experience with 3D printing technologies - FDM.
• Knowledge of materials and their properties for 3D printing
• Understanding of design principles and ability to interpret technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

*Experience working with additive manufacturing in a professional setting is a plus

** Experience working in the Prusa ecosystem (machines and slicer) is a big plus
