Structural and Calculation Engineer - Railway Sector

We are hiring for one of our clients, a leader company in Railway, a Structural and Calculation Engineer

Position based in Tel Aviv.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the definition of the design
• Ensures the definition of structural sizing hypotheses based on existing benchmarks or definition of these hypotheses on the REX when no benchmark is clearly established.
• Carrying out EF calculations.
• Critical look at hypotheses and calculation results.
• Performs the drafting of calculation documents
• Ensures the presentation and argumentation of the results in front of the client.
• Carry out the drafting of bench test specifications and monitoring of the organization in charge of these tests. Ensures monitoring of the normative framework

Profile:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree.
• +10 years of experience in similar position and sector.
• Materials experience is a plus
• Calculations of mechanically welded structures experience is crucial
• The candidate should be based in Israel.
